We apologise for the huge impact the recent swine flu pandemic
has had on routine appointment waiting times. An independent survey
earlier this year demonstrated that we were in a minority of
practices offering an excellent service in respect of waiting times
for emergency and routine appointments. We will do our best to
resume this level of service as soon as we reasonably can but we
face an uncertain few months. We eagerly await the introduction of
the much talked about swine flu vaccine and hope to be able to
provide this when it is available. We will give you more information
about who will receive this vaccine as soon as we are advised by the
Department of Health.
