Dr Thomas W D Anderson
MB ChB (Bristol 1988) MRCGP DRCOG
Post qualification has worked in Bristol, Bath, Liverpool,
Wales and Australia. Medical interests include child health,
orthopaedics and general medical matters. Also gained extensive
experience working as a civilian medical practitioner at the local
army garrison.
Dr J Richard Jones
MB BCh (Wales 1980) FRCGP DRCOG DAvMed DFFP MRAeS ILTM
Medical interests include aviation medicine, and GP education and
assessment. GP trainer within the practice. External appointments
include Associate Director Oxford PGMDE, trainer/assessor for nMRGCP,
and has been an examiner for the MRCGP since 1994. Hobbies include
skiing, golf, squash, rugby and motoring.
Dr Elizabeth S Van Stigt
MB BS (St George’s, London 1990) MRCGP DFFP
Post qualification has worked and travelled in Australia. Married
with 3 children. Medical interests include contraception and ENT.
Part time partner within the practice.
Dr David R Grimshaw
BA BM BCh (Oxford 1987) MRCGP DRCOG
Medical Interests include oncology (cancer related illnesses) and
mental health. Lead GP trainer within the practice. Sits on Oxford
Deanery ARCP panel assessing the progress of trainees in the
Deanery.
Interests outside
medicine include golf, skiing and acting. Married with 2 children,
who are half Irish.
Dr John R Jackman
MB BS (St Thomas’s, London, 1988) MRCGP DCH DFFP Dip PCR
Married with 4 children. Practice lead for QOF, and for audit,
diabetes, cardiovascular disease and hypertension. Works as a
clinical assistant and has worked as a GPSI in rheumatology. Member
of the British Society of Rheumatology guidelines group for the
management of rheumatoid arthritis. Plays cricket for a local
village, and occasional very bad golf when extensive family
commitments allow.
Dr Sara Ronaghy MD MPH DFSRH
Dr Ronaghy has worked and lived in the USA. Her medical interests
include women’s health and dermatology. Outside of medicine Dr
Ronaghy enjoys travelling, music and reading. She is fluent in both
English and Farsi.
Please note that, although some specific medical interests are
mentioned above, all doctors are happy to see and manage general
medical conditions of whatever nature including chronic medical
conditions (e.g. heart disease/hypertension) and mental health.
Registrars
Dr Amar Kachhia
Dr Kachhia is training to be a General Practioner and will be at
Langford Medical Practice until August 2012, He trained in Leicester
graduating with honours and has interests in palliative care,
women’s health and family planning. Of note he recently married and
in his spare time enjoys hockey and running.
Dr Victoria Jepson
Dr Victoria Jepson is in her first year of general practice
speciality training. She previously trained and has worked in
Liverpool. Over the past year she has been working in a tertiary
hospital in Brisbane, Australia. Dr Jepson is now planning on
finally settling in Oxford to complete her training and will be with
the practice until the end of January 2012.
